The primary school performance tables give information on school performance for pupils at the end of key stage 2 (KS2) of the national curriculum, showing how KS2 results compare with other schools in a local authority area and in England as a whole. They also provide information on pupil absence, school finance, school workforce and Ofsted inspection results. Click here for a link to the DfE Performance Tables

The National Curriculum Levels
From Year 1 in their school life, all children are assessed against the National Curriculum Levels; children in Foundation Stage are assessed against the Foundation Stage Profile. This is how the National Curriculum Levels build up:
1c 1b 1a 2c 2b 2a 3c 3b 3a 4c 4b 4a 5c 5b 5a
The table below shows which level average children should be achieving in each year group.
Some children need more consolidation in their learning, some develop more quickly. Some experience blips along the way, and some need to consolidate their learning at various stages, often at the beginning of a new Key Stage. Children need to consolidate the early building blocks of learning to enable them to learn better as they near the upper end of the school.
The children are in primary school for seven years and these levels are a guide to their progress. We aim for the children to achieve the best they can but also to have a broad and balanced education that will help them to become responsible individuals who are aware of their role in society and how they can make a useful contribution to it.
